Synopsis
Jenna finds a new job but sparks conflict when she begins a romance with her frenemy’s son… A frenemy who is also her boss
Newly single Jenna Jones enters the realm of beauty journalism and reignites her zest for life, experiencing a sense of harmony. However, her contentment is short-lived when she realizes that her boss is her frenemy, Darcy. Things become even more complicated when she begins a romantic relationship with Darcy's son, Eric. To prevent chaos from arising, Jenna attempts to manage everything and everyone around her while also navigating her own self-discovery journey.

Gabrielle Union stars in Netflix romantic comedy film based on Tia Williams’ novel
The Perfect Find is a romcom film directed by Numa Perrier for Netflix. It is based on the book of the same name by Tia Williams. Leigh Davenport, who is best known for creating the comedy TV series Run the World, wrote the screenplay for The Perfect Find. Perrier previously directed the 2019 semi-autobiographical drama Jezebel which premiered at SXSW; she also stars in The Perfect Find as Pearl Bailey. The producers on the film include star Gabrielle Union, Tommy Oliver, Codie Elaine Oliver, Glendon Palmer and Jeff Morrone.
Gabrielle Union portrays the lead role of Jenna Jones. She is joined by Gina Torres as Darcy Vale and Keith Powers as Eric. La La Anthony, Aisha Hinds, Janet Hubert, Latoia Fitzgerald, Remy Ma, Diana Noris, Phoenix Noelle, Ts Madison and Perrier round out the cast.
