Set in an underfinanced public school, the series follows a group of passionate Philadelphian teachers, driven solely by their love for teaching while a camera crew follows their journey. Season 4 follows the aftermath of beloved teacher Janine leaving her role at the district to return to teaching.
Quinta Brunson not only created and stars in the series but she also executive produces and is a writer on it. Abbott Elementary is a multiple Emmy Award-nominated series, previously winning for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and Brunson earning the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2023.
