The Spiderwick Chronicles is a fantasy-drama TV series created by Aron Eli Coleite for The Roku Channel. It is based on Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black's successful book series of the same name which was originally published from 2003-2004 as The Spiderwick Chronicles and 2007-2009 with Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles.

Aron Eli Coleite's previous credits include co-creating the Netflix post-apocalyptic series Daybreak and producing the NBC superhero series Heroes. He wrote several arcs for the Ultimate X-Men comic book series from 2008-2009. He additionally co-developed (with Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill) the popular series Locke & Key on Netflix which ran for three seasons. He executive produces The Spiderwick Chronicles with original authors DiTerlizzi and Black, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, D.J. Goldberg, Julie Kane-Ritsch and Kat Coiro.

Who stars in The Spiderwick Chronicles?

The Grace siblings are portrayed by Lyon Daniels as Jared, Noah Cottrell as Simon and Mychala Lee as Mallory. Parenthood's Joy Bryant plays matriarch Helen Grace. It and Shazam! star Jack Dylan Grazer portrays Thimbletack while Mr. Robot's Christian Slater plays Mulgarath the ogre. The supporting cast includes Avatar: The Last Airbender's Momona Tamada as Emiko, and Alyvia Alyn Lind reunites with her Daybreak co-creator, playing Calliope.
