Synopsis
The story of four inseparable brothers and their strive for becoming pro-wrestlers as they deal with a family curse
Based on a true story, The Iron Claw, follows the lives of Kevin, Kerry, Mike, and David Von Erich as they navigate the world of pro-wrestling. Belonging to a family of legacy pro-wrestlers who have ruled the world of wrestling since the 1960's, the brothers are famously known for their signature move- The Iron Claw. This movie follows the three brothers as they try to find their footing in the competitive world of pro-wrestling amidst unrelenting pressure from their father and a string of heartbreaking tragedies.

The Iron Claw is a biographical sports drama written and directed by Sean Dunkin. The film is produced by A24, BBC Film, Access Entertainment, and House Productions, and distributed by A24 and Lionsgate UK. The movie is co-produced by Tessa Ross, Juliette Howell, Angus Lamont, Sean Durkin, and Derrin Schlesinger. The sports drama is based on the legacy pro-wrestling Von Erich family, and documents their journey to fame, and the infamous Von Erich family curse.
Zac Efron stars as Kevin Von Erich, he is joined by Jeremy Allen White (Bear) who stars as his brother Kerry Von Erich. Harris Dickinson, and Stanley Simons are cast as the other two brothers David and Mike Erich. The movie excludes the youngest brother Chris Von Erich to save on runtime. Holt McCallany stars as the patriarch of the family, Fritz Von Erich. Maura Tierney plays the role of Fritz's wife, Doris Von Erich. Lily James stars as Kevin's love interest Pam Adkisson. Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Brady Pierce, Cazzey Louis Cereghino, Chavo Guerrero Jr., and Ryan Nemeth round out the rest of the cast.
