When 15-year-old Jackie Howard is suddenly orphaned, she finds herself uprooted from her upper-class lifestyle in Manhattan and sent to live in rural Colorado with the Walters, a family with 10 brothers.
My Life with the Walter Boys is an American teen drama series produced by Sony Pictures Television and iGeneration Studios for Netflix. The series is based on young adult author Ali Novak’s 2014 novel of the same name, and is adapted by Novak herself alongside Melanie Halsall. The first season comprises 10 episodes, and is created by iGeneration Studios, the same production company behind the The Kissing Booth film series.
My Life with the Walter Boys stars Nikki Rodriguez (On My Block) as Jackie Howard, a 15-year-old New York City girl from a wealthy family who is suddenly orphaned and sent to live in rural Colorado with a big family. Noah LaLonde plays Cole, one of the brothers and a love interest for Jackie. The other brother vying for Jackie’s attention is Alex, played by Ashby Gentry. Other members of the family include the matriarch Dr Katherine Walter (Sarah Rafferty), patriarch George Walter (Marc Blucas), brothers Danny (Connor Stanhope), Will (Johnny Link), and Nathan (Corey Fogelmanis). Zoë Soul plays Will’s fiancée, Haley, and Jaylan Evans plays Skylar, Jackie’s new school friend.
