The Last of the Big-Time Promoters Tony Mirakul, a naïve rock star wannabe, convinces Jewels, a rock concert promoter of dubious morals, to hire him because he needs a job, as well as someone to manage his music career. Tony learns the ropes of the business while Jewels and Tony's girlfriend Catherine both use him for their own ends. As Tony travels on the road with legendary comedian Blue Buncles, he learns that stardom isn't what it's all cracked up to be.
