Synopsis
Five high school students battle with supernatural powers threatening their town
In a live-action series based on R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps horror books, supernatural powers are unleashed by five high school students. They must work together to contain the damage that these powers could cause, and in the meantime embark on a journey of discovery as an old mystery and hidden secrets come to light.

R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books adapted into live-action series on Disney+
Based on the bestselling book series, Goosebumps is a live-action horror comedy series developed by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller. Letterman directed the film adaptation of the books in 2015, which starred Jack Black as R.L. Stine. There was also a sequel movie, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, starring Black and directed by Ari Sandel. Stoller’s previous work includes The Muppets and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Sony Pictures, Original Film and Scholastic Entertainment produced the series, with Stoller, Letterman, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Iole Lucchesse, Conor Wrench and Caitlin Friedman serving as executive producers.
The storyline centres on five high school students, Isabella (Ana Yi Puig), James (Miles McKenna), Jeff (Will Price), Isaiah (Zack Morris) and Margot (Isa Briones). Justin Long, known for his work in Barbarian, leads the main cast as a new teacher at the high school, Nathan Bratt. Bratt finds himself connected to a murder that happened many years ago. Rachael Harris, who played Sheila Sazs in Suits, rounds up the main cast as Nora. Childrens Hospital’s Rob Huebel plays Colin, with Goosebumps villain Slappy the Dummy confirmed to appear in the live-action series.
