Synopsis
Journalist seeks famous singer’s help to win grieving woman's heart
Mira Ray is having a hard time dealing with the passing of her fiancé leading her to send a series of affectionate messages to his previous phone number, which now belongs to Rob Burns' new work phone. Rob, being a journalist, is intrigued by the sincerity and elegance of Mira's messages. He is assigned to write a piece on global superstar Celine Dion and approaches her to help him meet Mira in person and ultimately win her heart.

Love Again is a romantic dramedy film written and directed by James C. Strouse for Sony Pictures Releasing. It serves as an English adaptation of the 2016 film, SMS für Dich, which was originally based on the Sofie Cramer novel. Strouse has both written and directed a number of projects throughout his career including Grace is Gone, The Winning Season and The Incredible Jessica James. Legendary singer Celine Dion lends not only her acting talents to the film but she recorded new music for it as well.
The film stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan in the lead roles as Mira Ray and Rob Burns respectively. Celine Dion stars as herself. The rest of the cast includes Russell Tovey, Steve Oram, Omid Djalili, Sofia Barclay, Lydia West, Arinzé Kene, Celia Imrie and a special appearance by Chopra Jonas' real-life husband, Nick Jonas.

- James C. Strouse has been announced as the director for an upcoming project currently called Text for You with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan starring alongside superstar Celine Dion. Russell Tovey, Steve Oram, Omid Djalili, Sofia Barclay, Lydia West, Arinzé Kene and Celia Imrie are also announced as part of the cast. The film will be a remake of a German film titled SMS für Dich and will be produced by Screen Gems.
