A prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series, Season 2 of Star Trek Strange New Worlds is set in the 23rd century, and follows the space adventures of Captain Pike as he leads the USS Enterprise on a series of missions, and uncovers new planets, lifeforms, and challenges. This intergalactic journey through space is full of turbulence as Spock, T’Pring and nurse Christine Chapel deal with the complications of navigating an awkward love triangle, and everyone’s beloved, Captain Christopher Pike, heads closer to a tragic destiny he has already foreseen.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 is a sci-fi TV series created by Alex Kurtzman and Henry Alonso Myers. The show is the 11th installment of the popular franchise, and is a part of Kurtzman’s expanded Star Trek universe. Show creators Alex Kurtzman and Henry Myers return to produce, and run the second season of the show.
The second season is led by Anson Mount who plays the role of Captain Pike, he is joined by actor Paul Wesley playing the iconic role of James T. Kirk in his younger years, and actor Ethan Peck as Spock.
