Adriano Giannini began his career as an actor in the movie “Off to the Revolution by a 2CV” (2001), which won the Golden Leopard at the 2001 Locarno International Film Festival. He went on to star opposite Madonna in “Swept Away” (2002), directed by Guy Ritchie, before “The Consequences of Love” (2004) from filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino. His career throughout the 2010s included appearances in movies such as “Black Gold” (2011), “Without Pity” (2014), “I Killed Napoleon” (2015), and “Il colore nascosto delle cose” (2017). He has starred in series such as “Missing” (2012), “In Treatment” (2013–2016), “Bang Bang Baby” (2022), and “Supersex” (2024). His later film appearances include “Three Floors” (2021), “Adagio” (2023), and “Lonely Planet” (2024).
