Bird Box Barcelona takes place in a parallel timeline to the original in Barcelona, Spain

Bird Box Barcelona is an upcoming post-apocalyptic horror film produced by Nostromo Pictures and Netflix. The film is a Spanish spin-off from the original 2018 American film, Bird Box. While it is not a direct sequel, Bird Box Barcelona takes place within the Bird Box universe on a parallel timeline. The film is written and directed by Álex and David Pastor, two brothers who previously directed post-apocalyptic films such as The Last Days, Carriers, and The Occupant

The film stars Mario Casas as Sebastián, while Alejandra Howard plays his daughter Anna. Naila Schuberth plays Sophia, one of the survivors Sebastian and Anna team up with. The rest of the cast includes Georgina Campbell, Diego Calva, and Leonardo Sbaraglia.
