A newcomer to a witchy gathering forces the members to confront themselves or face a bloody fate

Apple works for the retailer Free Eden at the local mall, and hosts a gathering of “witches” in the basement after hours with her two friends Fig and Cherry. When they gather, the would-be witches manage their everyday struggles with spells and rituals—and the seemingly unbreakable bond of sisterhood. But when they invite new employee Pumpkin into their ranks, she exposes the performative nature of their support system and challenges each member individually to face their darkest vulnerabilities, or reckon with a far worse fate.
