Jack is a middle-aged man who owns a shared mussel harvesting business with his difficult brother, Dyfan. Although he’s been together with his wife, Maggie, since they were 16, Jack finds his life quietly falling apart with the entrance of new deckhand Daniel. As Jack and Daniel’s attraction to each other grows out on the water, they realise that acceptance within the Northern Welsh community—not to mention within Jack’s family—might be too difficult to achieve.
