Synopsis
Teenage basketball star sinks into drugs and crime on the streets of New York
Teenager Jim Carroll is a promising basketball player and writer living with his mother in New York. Grieving over the death of a close friend, Jim begins using heroin, and it quickly takes over his life. As he falls into a life of crime and homelessness with his friends, the police start to catch up with them and Jim’s future looks more and more bleak.
