Synopsis
Percy Jackson goes on a quest across America to find Zeus’ lightning bolt
Percy Jackson is a young demi-god just starting to get a feel for his powers while studying at Camp Half-Blood. But when the most powerful god from Olympus, Zeus, accuses him of stealing his lightning bolt, Percy sets out on a quest around America to find it and set things right.

Disney adapts Rick Riordan’s young adult fantasy book series for the small screen
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 1 is the first season of the action-fantasy series produced by Disney. The first season is based on book one from the 5-book series of the same name by Rick Riordan. Dan Shotz and Jon Steinberg are the series’ showrunners, and Riordan and Steinberg adapt the screenplay alongside Monica Owusu-Breen, Daphne Olive, and Joe Tracz, while James Bobin directs.
Walker Scobell (The Adam Project) portrays the young demi-god Percy Jackson. He is joined by Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood and Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, who are Percy’s two best friends in the series. The rest of the cast includes Lance Reddick, Toby Stephens, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Tim Sharp, and others.
