Lando Calrissian finally gets a solo series in Disney’s Star Wars universe

Star Wars: Lando Season 1 is the upcoming first season of the sci-fi adventure series produced by Lucasfilm for Disney. The series takes place within the Star Wars universe, and focuses on the character Lando Calrissian, a fellow smuggler alongside Han Solo. He is first introduced in The Empire Strikes Back, and appears played by original actor Billy Dee Williams in The Rise of Skywalker. The character also appears in Solo: A Star Wars Story, where Donald Glover stars as a younger version of the iconic character. Donald Glover reprises his role as Lando in the series, and writes and directs all episodes alongside his brother, Stephen.
