Synopsis
After a mysterious woman arrives on the scene, members of the powerful Usher family begin to die violent deaths
Karma comes for the wealthy Usher family after a mysterious woman named Verna arrives in town, intent on getting revenge. As she slowly takes the family members out one by one, the patriarch Roderick Usher must reckon with his own greed and corruption.

Horror director Mike Flanagan adapts Edgar Allan Poe’s short stories for Netflix
The Fall of the House of Usher Season 1 is the first season of the gothic horror series produced by Intrepid Pictures for Netflix. While loosely based on Edgar Allan Poe’s 1839 short story of the same name, The Fall of the House of Usher is actually a mix of many of Poe’s other works. Acclaimed horror director Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House) directs and creates the miniseries, and the score is composed by the Newton Brothers.
Mike Flanagan is known for using the same actors in many of his productions, and Fall of the House of Usher is no exception. Carla Gugino joins as the ruthless Verna, while T'Nia Miller portrays Victorine LaFourcade, Sauriyan Sapkota plays Prospero Usher, Henry Thomas portrays Frederick Usher, Katie Parker plays Annabel Lee, Samantha Sloyan plays Tamerlane Usher, Kate Siegel plays Camille L'Espanaye, Michael Trucco plays Rufus Wilmot Griswold, and Carl Lumbly portrays detective C Auguste Dupin. Other prominent cast members include Mark Hamill as Arthur Pym, Bruce Greenwood as Roderick Usher, the family patriarch, and Mary McDonnell as his twin sister, Madeline.
