James Wan and Jason Momoa team up again for this epic sequel

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom is a DC superhero movie directed by James Wan. The aquatic adventure movie takes place within the DCEU (DC Extended Universe) and once again stars leading man Jason Momoa in the iconic role as Arthur Curry. Better known as Aquaman, the titular character is a half-human/half-Atlantan superhero with the power to swim at supersonic speeds and speak to aquatic lifeforms. Momoa and director James Wan previously worked together on Aquaman.

Willem Dafoe stars alongside Jason Momoa as Nuidis Vulko, a mentor to Aquaman and the vizier of Atlantis. Yahya Abdul-Mateen returns as Black Manta, the King of Xebel. Patrick Wilson also returns as Arthur’s half-brother, Orm Marius, the former king of Atlantis. Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom was released in theaters on December 22, 2023.
