Synopsis
Teenagers take turns to invite spirits to possess them until one goes too far and something terrible is let loose
A group of friends learns the secret of conjuring spirits. Using an embalmed hand, the group is hooked on this new thrilling pastime that seems like spooky fun but nothing more. Using their terrifying totem, each member of the group is briefly possessed by a spirit before it is banished again. But when one of the group holds on for too long, an unidentified supernatural force is unleashed causing horrifying consequences.

Talk to Me is an Australian supernatural horror movie produced by Causeway Films and distributed in the United States by A24. It is directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, twin filmmakers known for their YouTube channel RackaRacka. Talk to Me marks their directorial debut. The movie is written by Bill Hinzman and Danny Philippou based on a concept by Daley Pearson.
Talk to Me features Australian actress Sophie Wilde in the lead role of Mia. She is known for featuring in the movie The Portable Door as well as the television series You Don’t Know Me. She is joined in the cast by Alexandra Jensen who plays Jade. Joe Bird stars as Riley. Otis Dhanji plays the character Daniel while Miranda Otto, Zoe Terakes, and Chris Alosio make up the expanded cast. Talk to Me was released in cinemas on July 28th, 2023.
