Synopsis
In the inky night, a full moon appears in the sky above Beacon Hills. Continuing years after the events in the television series, Teen Wolf, Scott McCall returns to action. Having learned to live his life as an ordinary human and working as a vet, Scott isn’t prepared for the arrival of a new evil marked by the fearsome full moon. All manner of creatures are being summoned; between banshees and hellhounds, werecoyotes and kitsunes; the forces of evil are gathering to a new power. Only Scott – the alpha werewolf – can call on allies old and new alike to face down this most deadly threat.

Teen Wolf: The Movie is a supernatural teen drama movie directed by Russell Mulchay. The Australian director has worked on a variety of projects including Resident Evil: Extinction, Highlander, and Razorback. His work is characterized by fast cuts and tracking shots. Teen Wolf: The Movie is a continuation of the hit MTV show Teen Wolf which was written by Jeff Davis. Davis returns to pen the screenplay for the movie which is distributed by Paramount+ and produced by MTV Entertainment Studios.
Returning to reprise their roles from the original series released in 2011, the cast remains mostly unchanged. Tyler Posey is back as the central character Scott McCall. Crystal Reed, who left after the third season, is also back for the movie once again playing Allison Argent. Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Colton Haynes, and Shelley Henning make up the expanded cast. Teen Wolf: The Movie was released on January 26, 2023 on Paramount+.
