Synopsis

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles take on a secret criminal organization

The four teenage turtle brothers are underground mutants living in the sewers of New York City. Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael want nothing more than to be accepted by the people of their city and try every heroic act they can in a bid to be loved by the public. But when their new friend April O’Neil sets them up against a mysterious crime syndicate, the turtles find themselves facing an army of mutants and a challenge they need training for.

The movie is based on the comic book characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is directed by American filmmaker and writer Jeff Rowe. Having co-directed and written The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Rowe makes his solo directorial debut. The screenplay is written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the duo behind Pineapple Express and The Interview, who both produce the movie through production company Point Grey Pictures. Co-screenwriting credit goes to the duo Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit who worked on Detective Pikachu. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are confirmed to be handling the score.
