How to watch the Baki anime in order
There are three Baki anime series, all of which can be watched in the same order as their release date.
The first-ever Baki anime was Baki: The Grappler that premiered in 2001 and went on for two seasons. It follows the story of a young martial artist named Baki Hanma as he seeks to become the strongest fighter in the world.
The premise revolves around a young martial artist named Baki Hanma, who is on a quest to become the strongest fighter in the world, following in the footsteps of his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is known as the strongest creature on Earth. Baki faces various opponents throughout the series, each with their unique fighting styles and backgrounds, as he participates in underground fighting tournaments and challenges other renowned martial artists.
A few years later, Netflix premiered a revival series called Baki in 2018. The Netflix original took from the narrative of the 2000s series but can be watched even without any prior knowledge of the franchise as it takes on a different arc from the Baki manga.
This adaptation focuses on the same premise as the original manga but covers different story arcs. The anime follows Baki Hanma as he trains intensely to surpass his father and become the strongest martial artist in the world. He encounters numerous formidable opponents along the way, including convicts from death row who seek to challenge him
The three seasons of 2018’s Baki gave way to a direct sequel Baki Hanma. Set shortly after the events of the previous "Baki" series, Baki in Baki Hanma finds himself confronted by a new wave of powerful opponents, including legendary fighters and martial arts masters from around the globe. One of them is the caveman Pickle (yes, an actual caveman because expect the unexpected with Baki).
Where can you stream the Baki anime in order?
While Baki: The Grappler is unfortunately not available to stream anywhere in India at the moment, both other series (Baki and Baki Hanma) are available to watch on Netflix.
