Synopsis
Monkey D Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates go in search of the One Piece
The long lost treasure called the One Piece is capable of turning whoever first finds it into the ‘King of the Pirates’. But when Monkey D Luffy assembles a pirate crew known as the Straw Hat Pirates to embark on a mission to find the One Piece, they discover they are not the only ones searching for the relic.

What to know
Eiichiro Oda’s beloved manga series gets a live-action adaptation on Netflix
One Piece is a live-action fantasy adventure series produced by Tomorrow Studios, Kaji Productions, and Shueisha for Netflix. The series is based on the manga series of the same name created by Eiichiro Oda. One Piece is adapted by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda. Owens was previously a writer on superhero series Luke Cage, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and The Defenders. Maeda’s writing credits include Lost, CSI: Miami, and the X-Files.
The series stars Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D Luffy, the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates who possesses the ability to bend like rubber; Mackenyu as Roronora Zoru, a sword-wielding bounty hunter and member of the pirate crew; Emily Rudd as Nami, a guarded thief who also joins the pirates; Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, the talented marksmen in the pirate crew; and Taz Skylar as Sanji, a master chef and fellow pirate.
