Synopsis

Engineer Juliette uncovers shocking truths about underground silo housing thousands in polluted dystopian world

In a dystopian world plagued by pollution, a massive underground silo serves as a home for thousands of individuals. After the sheriff breaks an important rule that leads to mysterious fatalities, engineer Juliette embarks on a quest to uncover shocking truths and ultimately uncovers the reality behind the silo.

Silo season 1 is the first season of the Apple TV+ dystopian sci-fi TV series written and created by Graham Yost. The series is based on the book series by Hugh Howey. Yost, known for his previous work on action films such as SpeedBroken Arrow and Hard Rain , has also worked on popular TV series such as Justified and The Americans. Silo stars Rebecca Ferguson, who is also an executive producer of the series alongside Yost and a team of producers that includes Morten Tyldum, Howey, Remi Aubuchon, Fred Golan, Nina Jack, and Ingrid Escajeda.

Rebecca Ferguson takes on the lead role of Juliette, an engineer on a quest to uncover the truth about the murder of a loved one. Ferguson, known for her role as Ilsa Faust in the Mission: Impossible franchise, is joined by a talented ensemble cast including Common from The Chi,  Emmy-nominated Harriet Walter from Succession, Chinaza Uche from Dickinson, Avi Nash from The Walking DeadSelma star David Oyelowo, Emmy-nominated Rashida Jones from Parks and Recreation, and Academy Award winner Tim Robbins.
