What is Netflix?
Netflix is a paid media streaming service present in India and many other countries. It was launched in India in January 2016. Netflix offers the possibility to watch online, using the streaming technology, a wide range of movies and TV series, as well as Netflix Original series, movies, and documentaries. Some of the streaming content offered by Netflix is exclusive to the platform or founded by the company itself. To access Netflix, you need to create an account.
Netflix prices in India
Netflix has a subscription based business and comes with three different subscription plans: Basic, Standard and Premium. It means your Netflix payment is done once a month and you can unlimitedly stream all the movies and tv series Netflix has in its catalog in your country (you can find the complete list of all the movies and tv series available on Netflix below). In India, Netflix adjusted its price really recently to accommodate a 15% service tax.
The Basic subscription plan costs Rs 500 a month and has no option for watching Netflix movies and TV series in HD or Ultra HD video streaming and limits simultaneous screens to just one device.
The Standard subscription costs Rs 650 a month; this Netflix plan gives you HD viewing and the ability to watch Netflix movies and TV series on two screens.

Netflix free trial period
If you're subscribing to Netflix for the first time, you can enjoy a trial period of 30 days. For this, you will need to click on "Sign Up for a free trial". Then enter your email address, name and family name. You will need to choose a subscription plan and secure your registration on Netflix with your new credit card information. You won't be charged for the first month. You'll pay for Netflix starting the following month. If you don't want to be charged after you 30 days trial on Netflix, don't forget to cancel your Netflix Trial account.
Netflix App and Netflix Devices
Devices: you can stream Netflix on PC and Mac through a browser but also on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Smart TVs. Netflix is available also on media streamers from Roku and Western Digital, Android and iOS devices, Blu-ray players and home cinema systems. Netflix App: you can download the Netflix App for free from the Google Playstore or from the Apple Appstore. If downloading Netflix in India is free, you still need a paying account to access Netflix catalog of movies and tv series.
