The First Ladies: Michelle Obama

Raised on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. Michelle LaVaughn Robinson had an upbringing many Americans can relate to, a childhood those in power had never experienced. Michelle was outspoken, professional but also caring. She was a bright student and graduated from Princeton University. She met and fell in love with a young Barack Obama and the couple were later married. Michelle Obama has captivated the hearts and minds of many Americans, and individuals around the world. She has supported her husband the 44th President of the United States and has reached out to those in need of motivation. She focused her efforts on four key initiatives: Let's Move!, Reach Higher, Joining Forces and Let Girls Learn. As an advocate for education, Michelle spoke to and helped several young girls with their education and future careers. She has continued to strive for greatness and support the success for others.
