28 Days Later makes you feel like you are a part of the zombie virus outbreak - through it's DIY shaky cam style, following initially Cillian Murphy then others through London into a roadtrip to Manchester, it's a tough but fantastic watch. Written, directed and acted perfectly!

Until we get Christopher Nolan's 'James Bond' film, this is the closest you can get to filling that void in the spy genre - and it's well worth a watch. Full of great action filmmaking, a wild plot that is somewhat hard to follow on your first (or second) viewing, it's a hell of a fun ride. Backed by Ludwig Göransson's pulsating score, in my opinion you can't find many more exciting films released in the past few years.
