Jacob Lofland began his career by starring as Neckbone in the Jeff Nichols-directed “Mud” (2012). He followed that up by appearing in the movie “Little Accidents” (2014) and made his small screen debut with recurring roles in “Justified” (2014) and “Texas Rising” (2015). Lofland entered the Maze Runner movies by starring as Aris in “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” (2015) and the sequel “Maze Runner: The Death Cure” (2018). Between those movies he appeared in “Free State of Jones” (2016) and “Go North” (2017) while also starring in the series “The Son” (2017–2019). Lofland has also had roles in movies such as “12 Mighty Orphans” (2021), “A House on the Bayou” (2021), and “Joker: Folie a Deux” (2024). He has had a main role as Cooper Norris in the Taylor Sheridan series “Landman” (2024–), where he stars alongside Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore.
