Channing Tatum’s career began with roles in movies such as “Coach Carter” (2005), “She’s the Man” (2006), and “Step Up” (2006). He took on the role of Duke for the movie “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” (2009) and the sequel “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” (2013). He moved from action star to sex symbol with his career-defining performance in Steven Soderbergh’s movie “Magic Mike” (2012), and went on to reprise the role in “Magic Mike XXL” (2015) and “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” (2023). Tatum had a lead role in the movies “21 Jump Street” (2012) and “22 Jump Street” (2014) in between his roles in “White House Down” (2013) and “Foxcatcher” (2014). Tatum appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful Eight” (2015) and the Coen Brothers movie “Hail, Caesar!” (2016) before reuniting with Steven Soderbergh for “Logan Lucky” (2017). He took on the role of Gambit in the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” (2024) and reprised the role for “Avengers: Doomsday” (2026). He made his directorial debut with “Dog” (2022) and helped produce Zoe Kravitz’s directorial debut, “Blink Twice” (2024), which he also starred in.
