Sinossi

Estate del 1964 in un piccolo centro dello stato del Mississippi. Due agenti dell' Fbi indagano sulla misteriosa scomparsa di tre attivisti del movimento per i diritti civili: due ebrei bianchi e un nero. Il detective Anderson è un duro ex sceriffo di quelle parti che conosce fin troppo bene vizi e pregiudizi del profondo Sud. Invece Alan Ward vorrebbe seguire alla lettera il regolamento del Bureau.
