Synopsis
A Princess must save her Kingdom from splitting into two
Lumbria is a magical kingdom under threat. The powers of light and dark are set to split the land in two, leading to the downfall of the Kingdom. But Princess Ellian has other ideas. Harnessing her magic, the young and optimistic Princess goes on a mission to save the Lumbria and break the curse that threatens it.

Spellbound is an upcoming animated musical fantasy movie produced by Skydance Animation for Netflix. The movie is directed by filmmaker Vicky Jenson, best known for the movies Shrek and Shark Tale. The screenplay for the movie is handled by Linda Woolverton, Lauren Hynek, Elizabeth Martin, and Julia Miranda. Spellbound is produced by legendary animator and filmmaker John Lasseter alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bruce Anderson. Spellbound features music from Alan Menken, a composer best known for handling the scores for music such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and more.
Rachel Zegler stars in the lead role as Princess Ellian. She is joined by Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem who voice her parents, Queen Ellesmere and King Solon. John Lithgow stars Minister Bolinar while Jennifer Lewis voices Minister Nazara Prone. The cast also includes Nathan Lane, Andre De Shields, Jordan Fisher, and Tituss Burgess.
