Nicolas Cage stars in surreal comedy Dream Scenario
Dream Scenario is a surreal comedy written and directed by Norwegian filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli. In 2022, he released the comedy drama movie Sick of Myself. Dream Scenario is produced by A24 and Square Peg, with Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, Tyler Campellone, Jacob Jaffke and Nicolas Cage all serving as producers on the film. Dream Scenario premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023.
Multi-award winning actor and producer Nicolas Cage leads the cast as university professor Paul Matthews, the man who starts appearing in people’s dreams. Julianne Nicholson stars as his wife, Janet and Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Barbie) plays Trent, the head of a viral marketing company. Tim Meadows (Mean Girls) plays Brett, the dean of Paul’s university, with Dylan Gelula as his assistant, Molly. Dylan Baker, Kate Berlant, Noah Centineo and Nicholas Braun also feature in the cast.
