Synopsis

The Mallards are on the move

The Mallard family is at a loose end, as parents Pam and Mack argue about what’s best for their two children, Dax and Gwen. The duck family decides to leave their home and migrate to sunny Jamaica, but heading south for the winter takes a few unexpected turns.

Kumail Nanjiani and Elizabeth Banks lead ensemble cast of animated movie ‘Migration’

Migration is an animated comedy movie directed by French cartoonist and filmmaker Benjamin Renner. Renner is known for his work on Ernest & Celestine which was nominated for Best Animated feature at the 2014 Academy Awards. The screenplay is written by Mike White (School of Rock) and the film is produced by Chris Meledandri (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Minions, Ice Age).

The voice cast of Migration is led by Kumail Nanjiani, who plays Mack Mallard, the anxious father of Gwen and Dax. Elizabeth Banks plays Gwen and Dax’s mother, Pam Mallard. Awkwafina plays Chump, the leader of a pigeon gang in New York City, alongside Keegan-Michael Key as Delroy, a homesick Jamaican-accented parrot who has been imprisoned in a restaurant in Manhattan. David Mitchell, Carol Kane, Caspar Jennings, Tresi Gazal and Danny DeVito are also part of the ensemble cast.
