He gained further attention and acclaim for his main role as Spencer Dutton in the Taylor Sheridan series “1923” (2022–2025), where he starred alongside Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. On the big screen, his first major roles were in movies such as the biographical drama “Mapplethorpe” (2018) and political comedy “Vice” (2018), directed by Adam McKay. He went on to appear in “Midway” (2019), “The Big Ugly” (2020), “Karen” (2021), and “Emily the Criminal” (2022).
