Sydney Sweeney reteams with Everything Sucks! co-creator and The Voyeurs director in horror film

Immaculate is a psychological-horror film directed by Michael Mohan for Neon. Mohan is an accomplished writer and director, having previously worked with lead star Sydney Sweeney twice prior to the release of Immaculate. Sweeney starred in the Netflix series Everything Sucks! in 2018 which Mohan co-created with Ben York Jones. Three years later, she led the erotic thriller Mohan wrote and directed, The Voyeurs, for Amazon Prime Video. Sweeney additionally serves as a producer on Immaculate along with David Bernad, Jonathan Davino, Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler. Bernad was an executive producer on the first season of HBO's The White Lotus which Sweeney appeared in in 2021.

Andrew Lobel wrote the screenplay for the film after previously working on PUBG Ground Zero and Mysteries Unknown. Columbus and The Night House cinematographer, Elisha Christian, handled cinematography duties on Immaculate while music was executed by Dumb Money composer, Will Bates.

Sydney Sweeney stars in Immaculate playing Cecilia. She has appeared in numerous celebrated movies and TV shows including Anyone But You, Reality, Euphoria and The Handmaid's Tale. She is joined by Álvaro Morte (Money Heist), Benedetta Porcaroli (Baby), Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli and Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus).
