Ironheart is an upcoming action-adventure superhero TV series created by Chinaka Hodge for Disney+. It is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and is set after the events of 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Ironheart is the twelfth Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) TV series and follows the continuity of the MCU films. Series creator and head writer Hodge previously worked on the Snowpiercer TV series along with Netflix’s The Midnight Club. Ironheart consists of six episodes with Sam Bailey handling directing duties for the initial three episodes and Angela Barnes directing the final three.
Dominique Thorne reprises her role of Riri Williams/Ironheart last seen in Wakanda Forever. Anthony Ramos stars as her ally Parker Robbins/The Hood whose mystical hood grants him access to the realm of dark arts and magic. Joining them are Jim Rash who returns to his role as the Dean of MIT from Captain America: Civil War. Lyric Ross stars as Williams' best friend while Harper Anthony, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Shea Couleé, Zoe Terakes, Regan Aliyah, Shakira Barrera, Rashida "Sheedz" Olayiwola, Sonia Denis, Paul Calderón and Cree Summer round out the cast.
