시놉시스
어쩌다 두 여자와 결혼하게 된 외로운 남자의 이야기. 임신할 수 없다는 사실을 알게 되면서 관계가 소원해진 부부는 입양을 결심한다. 입양기관에서 가족에 대한 조사를 펴던 중, 남편의 멀리 떨어진 일터에 다른 가족이 있다는 사실이 밝혀지면서 영화는 또 다른 국면을 맞는다. 조안 포스터가 첫 번째 부인으로, 아이다 루피노가 두 번째 부인으로 출연한 영화.
