Every moment of his life is a crisis for Kang Go Bi, a student studying for a civil service exam. On his way back home after failing the exam as usual, he drinks a cup of coffee that steers the keys to his ship in a whole different direction. After reaching a turning point in his life, he abruptly visits the café and says the following to the owner, Park Seok. “You gave me a coffee that has changed my life. You need to take responsibility for that!” And so Ko Bi becomes Seok’s pupil and slowly learns about what coffee means to a barista and what kind of meaning a cup of coffee holds to people. Kang Go Bi, who is too earnest for a young man, and Park Seok, who is not so old-fashioned for an older guy, brew coffee as they learn more about coffee and people together.
