Under Si: (2023)

UNDER [SI:] tells the story of the underwater eco-museum of Cannes birth, near the southern shore of Sainte-Marguerite Island. From stopover to stopover, the documentary goes to meet the protagonists and the places that participated in the project. Produced and directed by ALMO Film, this film offers an intimate look behind the scenes of the creative process of British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor. From the first casts of Cannois faces in 2018 to the immersion of the 6 colossal statues in 2021, UNDER [SI:] sheds light for the first time on the creative stages of the project, which has emerged as a real logistical and ecological challenge.
