Milan, nowadays. Marco, engineer, and Anna, architect, after a full blown at first sight, years of peaceful coexistence and the birth of their son Tommaso, are in crisis. But when Marco is offered a job transfer to Amsterdam, he starts to think about it. Meanwhile, Anna would like to separate, Marco doesn't, but since Tommaso has been promised a trip to the land of the Vikings, they decide to leave in a camper for Norway anyway.
