Kicking off her career in the soap opera “Passions” (1999–2000), Mary Elizabeth Winstead rose to prominence by starring in horror movies such as “Final Destination 3” (2006) and “Death Proof” (2007). She went on to star in “Live Free or Die Hard” (2007) before grabbing attention in the cult classic “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” (2010). Between roles in the horror flicks “The Thing” (2011) and “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” (2012), she had an acclaimed leading role in the independent drama “Smashed” (2012).
