劇情簡介
江户时代的越后，丹生山藩。捕鲑鱼的渔民之子·间垣小四郎(神木隆之介)家中出现了许多官员，他得知自己原来是继承德川家康血脉的丹生山藩主后人·松平小四郎。亲生父亲一狐斋(佐藤浩市)让小四郎当上藩主后，选择退隐山林。从平民变成大名的小四郎看似幸运，但实际上丹生山藩背负了25万两(约100亿日元)的债务。面对为难的小四郎，一狐斋命他宣布“大名破产”。虽然可以在还款日当天宣布破产，但只要还清债务，所有人都能得救。
