Synopsis

Lando Calrissian is the star in his own right in this new Star Wars series that features the character as the protagonist. Played by Donald Glover, the smuggler will set off on thrilling adventures as he gambles and charms his way across the galaxy.

What to know

Lando is an upcoming fantasy adventure series produced by Lucasfilm for Disney+. Justin Simien will write and direct the series. This is Simien’s second foray into television after creating the successful Dear White People for Netflix.

Donald Glover played Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and he will be reprising the role in the series.
