Synopsis
The story of Princess Diana, the Queen’s Jubilee, and a new Royal couple
The relationship between Princess Diana and Charles, Prince of Wales is more strained than ever. After a public falling out, Diana is seen with Dodi Fayed and the press falls into a frenzy. After a tragic car accident, both are killed while the country and the Royal Family are left in shock. The Queen in the meantime approaches her Golden Jubilee as the 2000s see a new Royal wedding on the cards with young William and his soon-to-be bride Kate Middleton.

The Crown Season 6 sees Imelda Staunton starring as Queen Elizabeth II. Staunton is a legend of stage and screen having won four Laurence Olivier Awards and been nominated for multiple Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Primetime Emmy Awards. Elizabeth Debicki stars as Diana, Prince of Wales while Dominic West stars as Charles. They are joined by Jonathan Pryce in the role of Prince Philip and Lesley Manville who stars as Princess Margaret while. Olivia Williams stars as Camilla Parker Bowles while Khalid Abdalla plays Dodi Fayed. Bertie Carvel is cast as British Prime Minister Tony Blair while Lydia Leonard plays his wife Cherie. The cast also includes Salim Daw, Andrew Havill, Marcia Warren, Claudia Harrison, Theo Fraser Steele, James Murray, Sam Woolf, Ed McVey, Meg Bellamy, Luther Ford, Richard Rycroft, and Matilda Broadbridge.
