Beautiful Disaster is an American romantic comedy film based on the eponymous New York Times Bestselling novel by Jamie McGuire. Produced by Voltage Pictures, the film is directed by Roger Kumble. Kumble is a writer and director known for teen romance comedy movies, with his previous work including Cruel Intentions, and Just Friends. Mark Clayman (The Pursuit of Happyness) and Jonathan Deckter (After We Fell) serve as the film’s producers with Taylor Conrod (After Ever Happy) co-producing. Joshua Reis (Beats) serves as director of photography.
Dylan Sprouse (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) stars as Travis “Mad Dog” Maddox who got his first big break in the industry in Friends as Ross’s son Ben alongside his twin brother Cole Sprouse. Virginia Gardner (Marvel’s Runaways) stars as Abby “Pigeon” Abernathy. Actors Autumn Reeser, Brian Austin Green, Michael Cudlitz, Libe Barer and Rob Estes also feature in the cast. The film was shot in Sofia, Bulgaria.
