An adaptation of de Sade’s 120 Days of Sodom set during the final days of fascist Italy

In the Republic of Salò during the final days of World War II, four powerful men imprison a group of teenagers in a secluded villa. Over 120 days, they subject their captives to acts of domination and cruelty in a grim parody of order and discipline. As the regime nears collapse, the line between ideology and depravity disappears entirely.
