Keanu Reeves produces John Wick prequel spin-off miniseries

The Continental is an action-thriller miniseries and prequel spin-off to the John Wick movie franchise. Developed by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward and Shawn Simmons, Coolidge and Ward serve as co-showrunners. The series is made up of three ninety-minute episodes with Albert Hughes (The Book of Eli) and Charlotte Brändström (Outlander) directing. Keanu Reeves, Chad Stahelski and Derek Kolstad serve as producers on the series. 

The lead character, Winston Scott, is played by Colin Woodell. Scott was previously played by Ian McShane in the John Wick films. Mel Gibson joins the franchise in a new role as Cormac. A younger version of Uncle Charlie is played by Peter Greene, with Katie McGrath starring as The Adjudicator. Jeremy Bobb, Ayomide Adegun, Jessica Allain and Nhung Kate make up the main cast.
