Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti develop It prequel series ‘Welcome to Derry’
Welcome to Derry is an upcoming horror television show developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. The show is a prequel to It and It Chapter Two, which are both film adaptations of Stephen King’s 1986 novel ‘It’. Jason Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane work as co-showrunners and executive producers on Welcome to Derry. Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, Shelley Meals, Roy Lee and Dan Lin are also executive producers on the show.
Stephen Rider leads the ensemble cast of Welcome to Derry. Rider’s acting credits include Marvel’s Daredevil and Instinct. The cast also features Jovan Adepo, Chad Rook, Chris Chalk, Taylour Paige, James Remar and Madeleine Stowe. Bill Skarsgård returns as Pennywise.
