Sinopse
Set in 1930s Austria, the story follows 18-year-old Maria Kutschera, a spirited novice from Nonnberg Abbey. Sent to the villa of widowed naval officer Baron Georg von Trapp to serve as a governess for his seven children, Maria brings warmth, music, and joy into a household overshadowed by strict discipline. As she bonds with the children and gradually earns the Baron's respect, Maria faces personal and political challenges, including the looming threat of Nazi occupation.
