Synopsis
Maddie's wish to become the bride comes true - But is she marrying the right one?
Amidst the enchanting backdrop of an Irish wedding, Maddie steps into the role of bridesmaid when her best friend becomes engaged to the love of Maddie's life. However, as the wedding day approaches, Maddie, grappling with her emotions, impulsively makes a wish to marry the groom. To her surprise, she wakes up to find herself as the bride. While it initially appears that her dreams have come true, Maddie soon discovers that her true soulmate may not be the person she's been pining over.

Lindsay Lohan reunites with Falling for Christmas director in second Netflix romcom collaboration
Irish Wish is a fantasy-romcom film directed by Janeen Damian for Netflix. Damian previously directed another Netflix romance title with 2022's Falling for Christmas, which also starred Irish Wish lead Lindsay Lohan. She's also co-written a number of projects with Michael Damian including 2006's Hot Tamale and 2007's Moondance Alexander. Kirsten Hansen crafted the screenplay for Irish Wish; she has several writing credits within the realm of the holiday movie genre including Cross Country Christmas and Christmas on My Mind. Amanda Phillips, Kirsten Hansen, Jimmy Townsend, and Vince Balzano serve as executive producers on Irish Wish while Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian produce.
Following a three year hiatus from acting, star Lindsay Lohan teamed up with Netflix to star in the previously mentioned holiday film Falling for Christmas in 2022. Irish Wish marks the second collaboration she shares with the streaming service. Lohan is best known for her impressive run of films throughout the 1990s-2000s including The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls.
Lohan leads in Irish Wish playing Maddie Kelly. She is joined by Ed Speleers as James Thomas, Alexander Vlahos as Paul Kennedy, Ayesha Curry as Heather, Elizabeth Tan as Emma Taylor, Jane Seymour as Rosemary Kelly, Jacinta Mulcahy as Olivia Kennedy, Matty McCabe as Kory Kennedy and Dakota Lohan as Finn.
